Please reach us at Snowbirdstudio@outlook.com if you cannot find an answer to your question!
Ideally, you will want to book your preservation when you book your wedding florist.
Since we can only take on so many brides per week/per month, we want to make sure we can accommodate you when you book.
The sooner the better!
Absolutely! I will send you detailed information through email on how to do this once you book. You can also always reach out to me through email!
The flowers will look different when dried. White will often dry a soft ivory. Pink, yellows and light blues/purple will keep their vibrant color and will sometimes dry darker.
Some flowers and plants do not dry or preserve well due to their high water content. Succulent are not able to be used and flowers with small thin pedals may become thinner or translucent during the process.
This process will vary from bouquet to bouquet due to the type of flowers. Our timeline for receiving your finished floral piece is 8-12 weeks once we have received your flowers.
Unfortunately, we are not liable for the condition the flowers arrive in. We can do our best to cut away the browning or destroyed pieces. If your flowers are damaged or cannot be preserved, you can choose to not move forward with your preservation.
Most resins, over many years, will begin to yellow. However some brands resist yellowing better than others. High-quality epoxy resins like the ones we use add UV protectants to keep the resin from
yellowing as quickly.
It is important to keep your floral preservation out of direct sunlight. The more exposure to sunlight, the faster the resin will yellow.
